Glamping is a combined word of glamorous + camping, which became a trend in early 2000. We have been asked to design prototypes for the developer so they can mass produce. We developed 2 designs, which are Lotus and Pebble. Lotus was inspired by lotus flowers, which are common in Korea and Pebble took the shape of white pebbles. We approached the design imagining not only individual pods but as objects placed in a large plot of land that shines as stars at night. The idea was for pods to blend into the landscape rather than standing out as individual objects.
