The society we live in now, especially in mega cities such as Seoul, faces a lot of social issues for instance, the social conflict. These problems cannot be explained with one such phenomena, but the pace of the city is undoubtedly one of the main causes.

We proposed a buffer space in the middle of the city centre to slow down the pace of the city The proposal was to attain green space, which Seoul is currently lacking of. By positioning this in the middle of the Sejongderoe, the historical axis will reconstruct from Bukhansan, Gyeongbokgung, Gwanghwamun in North to Namdaemun in South. It is not quite possible to revitalise the physical axis but re-introduced through viewing gallery. The proposal not only reconstruct the axis but provide connection between East and West.
