Jin Kim

Jin directs Rubrics from the practice's studio at Michelin House on Fulham Road, London. Rubrics Architects is a RIBA Chartered Practice; Jin is registered with the Architects Registration Board and is a Chartered Member of the RIBA.

Across the four studios he sets the design direction and leads the practice's advice to private clients, operators, investors and owners. The practice is based in London, with architectural projects in the UK and overseas.

Jin's work connects architecture, interiors and property development. The layout of a home, the design of a building and the plan for a site are considered together with the ownership and objective behind them. Rubrics Projects applies that outlook for investors and owners in prime London, connecting acquisition, portfolio oversight and development management.

Jin studied at the Architectural Association in London and was awarded the AA Diploma in June 2011. Student work from that period is held in the AA's public Projects Review 2011.

At the University of Cambridge he was awarded the MPhil in Planning, Growth, and Regeneration in November 2015. His dissertation, A Critical Examination of UK Enterprise Zones: their Impact on the Property Market, considered policy and the property market together. That interest continues in the practice's research into architecture, urban form and property markets.

Jin was a co-programme director of the AA Visiting School Seoul in 2013 and 2014.
